Chiropractic Care

Female chiropractor adjusting patientWe’ve found that one of the best ways to explain chiropractic to our patients is by using several models that show a stuck or a fixated vertebral joint. We explain that a stuck or restricted joint can affect blood flow and the nervous output of that exact area. When that happens symptoms as pain and tingling can occur.

Through the chiropractic adjustment, the correct spinal motion that we were born with can be restored. Pain can be alleviated and range of motion and function can be increased. Chiropractic also can boost the immune system so you may not get sick as often when under care!

Providing Customized Care

We enjoy working with patients through the process of managing their musculoskeletal conditions. Whether you come in with an acute or chronic problem, and whether your issue is related to the axial skeleton or an extremity, we’re here to help. We help patients find relief quickly by utilizing a variety of diagnostic methods and developing a unique treatment protocol for the individual patient.

Chiropractic is highly effective at addressing many issues that include the following:

  • Back pain
  • Disc herniations
  • Headaches & migraines
  • Neck pain

  • Pregnancy-related pain
  • Sciatica
  • Sports injuries

Advanced Certified in Activator Methods®

Both Dr. Holly and Dr. Austin are advanced certified in the basic Activator protocol. Many patients seek this type of adjustment because there’s no cracking and popping. Not only is it gentle but it’s also highly effective.

Activator Methods is also highly precise, always using the same amount of force. The head of the Activator instrument is about the size of a dime. So when we’re adjusting one joint, we’re adjusting that exact joint, whereas, with a manual adjustment, you’re more often likely adjusting two or three joints at the same time.

This method is also ideal for patients of all ages, from babies and toddlers to seniors to those just looking for a light-force adjustment.

Trigger Point Therapy

The primary purpose of Trigger Point Therapy is to reduce the pain resulting from hypersensitive muscles. Identifying trigger points is done by gently pressing on the surface of the skin, feeling the texture of the underlying muscle.

Trigger Point Therapy is performed in several ways. The least invasive is by applying direct pressure or stretching of the affected muscle. Deliberate pressure, with a thumb, elbow or instrument releases the muscle and helps flush out blood and accumulated toxins. Sometimes there are a series of strokes across the trigger point nodules, or a cooling spray is applied along with the stretching of the affected muscle.

Trigger Point Therapy is a natural way to relax muscles and restore strength and flexibility.

Are adjustments safe?

Absolutely. Chiropractic care is broadly recognized as one of the safest, non-invasive forms of health care.
Is chiropractic appropriate for all ages?

Yes, we can adjust all ages from days-old newborns to 90-year-olds and everyone in between.
Will everyone get the same adjustment?

No, we provide individualized care, depending on the patient’s age and condition. For example, we wouldn’t adjust an infant the same way we would an adult.
Could chiropractic help me reduce my reliance on OTC pain relievers or prescription painkillers?

Yes. That’s one of the greatest benefits of chiropractic. Unlike addictive opioids, chiropractic is completely natural.
